VSSI

VSSI

Virtual Software Systems (VSSI) has been providing extensions to the VM operating system since 1978, and currently provides virtual tape and disk solutions tailored for guest operating systems, including TPF and LINUX on z. VSSI's VPARS and ShadowDisk products provide tailored solutions making testing with large numbers of guests straightforward, and can save substantial disk space. In addition, the ability to concatenate these systems means that one Golden Image can be used as the basis for many tailored instances, while maintaining disk space savings. At VSSI, our goal is to exploit the power of virtualization in every aspect of mainframe systems to deliver the most efficient possible solutions to its customers.
