About the Midwest VM Regional Users Group
The Midwest VM Regional Users Group (commonly referred to as MVMRUG) is a non-profit organization composed of computer professionals who have an interest in IBM's VM computer operating system and related technologies such as Linux for zSeries. Members meet in person and electronically to share information, solve problems, and learn about new techniques and products. MVMRUG was founded and first began to meet in October of 1986. It was chartered as a not-for-profit corporation by the State of Ohio in October the following year.
MVMRUG's mission is to help computer professionals deliver cost effective, quality VM/CMS based business solutions to their organizations. Therefore, each MVMRUG meeting includes speakers who provide both informative and entertaining VM/CMS related information. If your area of expertise includes VM/CMS and you would like to make a presentation to our group, please contact any of the officers listed below after browsing our "Speaker Guidelines and Expectations".
