2014 Dorm Room Arrangements
Dorm room registrations and payment must be complete before 11:59 PM Friday May 30 (providing set-up time for NC A&T).
On-Campus Housing
NCAT A&T housing offers dorm rooms across the street from the workshop site. The cost is $50 per person/per night.
For each reserved bed:
- Linens will be set on each reserved bed: One set of sheets/blanket, pillow/pillowcase, 2 face cloths, and two towel sets (face and bath) will be provided
- Drawer cabinets are located under beds
- The mattress is 31" above the floor
- There will be no customary hotel amenities - this is a DORM ROOM. Thus, no glasses in the bathroom, no soap, no shampoo, no moisturizer, no shower cap, no mint on your pillow each night, and no wake up calls. Think back - plan ahead!
There are four types of dorm rooms available (see room floor plans at the bottom of this page).

A 5-person suite containing:
- Three 1-bed rooms, each with 1 closet
- One 2-bed room, with 2 closets
- A living room
- Two side-by-side sinks in a central bathroom area within the suite
- Two separate bathrooms, each with a toilet and shower stall

A 4-person suite containing:
- Four 1-bed rooms, each with 1 closet
- A living room
- Two side-by-side sinks in a central bathroom area within the suite
- Two separate bathrooms, one with a toilet and shower stall, the other with a toilet and bathtub
- NOTE: while you'll share two sinks and two bathrooms in the suite, this is as close to a private room as you can get - you'll have your own bedroom with a door.

A 2-person dorm room containing:
- 2 beds (no wall or doors between them -- see the NOTE in the 4-person suite, above)
- 2 closets
- A sink (in the room, not in the bathroom)
- A bathroom with toilet and shower stall.

A 1-person dorm room (only 6 private rooms available, first-come, first-serve) containing:
- 1 bed
- A sink (in the room, not in the bathroom)
- A bathroom with toilet and bathtub
If you really want a private room to yourself and the limited number of private rooms have already been reserved, you have the option of paying for both beds in a 2-bed dorm room. Caution: that makes your cost $100 per night for a no-frills dorm room. OTOH, you're right in the middle of all the dorm camaraderie, and a short walk across the street to the sessions and hands-on labs!
